Rhonda and I went back to Phoenix for an EGP Board meeting, staying at the Royal Palms once again. It’s a very cozy hotel with gorgeous grounds at the base of Camelback Mountain. It turned out cold and drizzly for most of the trip, but we still had a great time as usual.
Rhonda met Jon’s -dawg- puppy. He’s only 7 months old…
Rhonda flew to Kansas on Sunday to visit, then drive home with Carolyn for Thanksgiving. They are on the way now, but going through some really bad weather. Average speed is down to 30 mph and they can’t find a bridge to stop under that someone else hasn’t already claimed.
Update: they are here. Carolyn slept with the light on…how weird is that?
So…Rhonda got to go to New Orleans and stay at the Le Pavillon, have a nice dinner out, and then was hosted in a skybox at the Saints/Falcons game….I swept the driveway and unloaded the dishwasher.
Brad, Jamie and I went to NHRA Mid-South Nationals in Memphis again this year. It was much cooler than last year, but we’re all sunburned anyway. I’ll edit this post and add some pics…
