Rhonda took these photos from the window of our room. That’s Deer Island that’s within swimming distance of Biloxi. A few weeks ago, we launched our boat just to the east of our room at the public launch next to the Hard Rock Casino. We think the area behind the water is a no wake zone, but the dude in the photo below doesn’t think so.
I really liked the Beau Rivage, although I would prefer a bed & breakfast out in the country somewhere…

We went down to the Beau Rivage with Skipper and Beth to see Jackson Browne in concert. Dude is 60 years old! One thing about it…there are no bad seats in that place.
Beth was the youngest person there who’s idea it was to attend the concert. She would have been the absolute youngest, no caveats, except for some folks who brought their grandchildren.
The other day, I was leaving the parking garage and heading up State Street. I glanced down at the odometer and noted 21,414 miles on my car. I thought, “How long am I going to have to drive this car?”
Flashback: I remember leaving the parking garage and heading up State Street in my BMW. I remember thinking, “How long can I drive this car before I have to give it up?”.
p.s. I still occasionally try to downshift when taking the Gluckstadt exit.
After only 17 days, Rhonda harvested my salad and ate it up like it was Hansel and Gretel. In her infinite cruelty, she made me eat it too!
I hope that the next generation is ready by Halloween.

Beth
Beth got her acceptance letter for nursing school!! We never had any doubts…
Rhonda wants to scarf down my salad, but I’m not ready to pick it yet. It’s only been a week…

Brad

Brad has a job helping a landscaper. He swung an ax all day today and brought home a big paycheck!
I have no idea where these came from, but they’re on my computer….
Here is my sister, Santa Claus, and me:

Here’s my nephews Jonathan, Josh, and Jake (Carolyn’s boys) at Topisaw Creek, where my parents had a vacation home for a short time. It was a wonderful place.

This next one was taken at Aunt Ruby’s, out in the country somewhere near McComb. I’m not in the picture for some reason…

This is all the kids. The background looks like it was taken for church, but if so, Momma and Daddy would be in the pic too. I can’t really explain it. In age order, it’s Don, David, Phil, Carolyn, and me (sitting on Don’s knee).

This picture of Don, David, and Phil predates Carolyn and me.
